With extensive U.S. Marine Corps leadership experience, Cameron Tygett served from 2003 to 2017, most as a logistics chief stationed in Virginia. With an emphasis on proficiency, Cameron Tygett was responsible for ensuring the safe embarkation and disembarkation of personnel, cargo, and equipment in a variety of situations.
Mr. Tygett’s assignments included deployment to North Carolina and Virginia. He served in Operation Enduring Freedom from March to October 2010. As a squad leader and member of the Landing Support Detachment, Headquarters and Services Company, and 1st Marine Logistics Group Forward units, he guided efficient throughput of 40,000 civilian and military passengers, as well as 14 million pounds of cargo, in the Regional Command Southwest operation area.
From 2012 to 2014, Mr. Tygett functioned as the landing support detachment chief and oversaw training and operations for more than a dozen Marines in various embarkation and logistics missions. Among other duties, he managed railhead operations and external lift resupply missions.
Family-focused, Cameron Tygett enjoys activities such as camping in national forests in his free time.
